Ford has used several generations of Passive Anti Theft System (PATS) technology. Depending on the vehicle, immobilizer information may be stored in the instrument cluster, PATS module, BCM, PCM, or another security related module.

The PCM may also be required on certain applications for immobilizer synchronization or security data verification.

VIN and module information should be provided before shipping if you are unsure which module contains the immobilizer data.

If You Would Like the Mechanical Key Cut

Include:

OR

• One door lock cylinder

If all keys are lost and no working mechanical key is available, send the door lock cylinder for decoding.

If neither is provided, your new key will be returned uncut.

Late model Ford vehicles use newer security architectures, gateways, online functions, and security access procedures that vary substantially by platform.

Mail in All Keys Lost service is not automatically available simply because the vehicle is a Ford.

Mechanical Key Cutting

Mechanical key cutting is available with this service.

If you would like your mechanical key or emergency blade cut before the programmed key is returned, you must include:

• One working mechanical key

OR

• The vehicle's door lock cylinder

If all keys are lost, the supplied door lock cylinder can be decoded to determine the mechanical key cut.

If neither is supplied, your new key will be returned uncut.

This is a mail in programming service.

You are purchasing professional immobilizer and key programming. The required vehicle modules must be mailed to us before bench programming can be completed.

Buyer is responsible for removing and reinstalling all required modules.

Do not remove or ship modules until your application has been confirmed if you are unsure which module contains the PATS data.

Ford used many different PATS configurations, and immobilizer architecture can vary by year, model, production date, and equipment.

The same model may use different immobilizer configurations during the same generation.

Providing the VIN and clear photographs of module labels before shipping is strongly recommended.

Additional modules may be requested if required for synchronization or security data recovery.

All modules must be packaged securely to prevent physical, moisture, or static damage during shipping.

Programming begins after all required components have been received and inspected.

No returns are accepted on programmed keys or programmed electronic modules.

Completed programming services are non refundable.
