Depending on the EWS version and condition of the vehicle's immobilizer system, the engine DME may also be required for synchronization or verification.

If neither is provided, your new key will be returned with an uncut mechanical blade.

• Engine DME or DDE when required for ISN extraction or synchronization

Many CAS systems allow immobilizer and key data to be recovered directly from the CAS module.

If additional ISN or synchronization data is required, the engine control module must also be provided.

Mechanical Key Cutting

Mechanical key cutting is available with this service.

If you would like the mechanical or emergency blade cut before your key is returned, you must include:

• One working mechanical key

OR

• The vehicle's door lock cylinder

The existing key can be duplicated or the supplied lock cylinder can be decoded to determine the mechanical key cut.

If neither is supplied, your new key will be returned with an uncut mechanical blade.

Important Information

This is a mail in programming service.

You are purchasing professional key and immobilizer programming. The required vehicle modules must be mailed to us before programming can be completed.

Buyer is responsible for removing and reinstalling the required vehicle modules.

Do not purchase based solely on model year. MINI changed immobilizer systems during production, and two vehicles from the same model year may use different security hardware or software.

Providing the VIN and clear photographs of the module labels before shipping is strongly recommended.

FEM, BDC, CAS4, and CAS4+ vehicles may require compatibility verification before the service can be accepted.

Additional modules may be requested if required to obtain immobilizer synchronization or ISN data.

All modules must be packaged securely to prevent physical, moisture, or static damage during shipping.

Programming begins after all required components have been received and inspected.

No returns are accepted on programmed keys or programmed electronic modules.

Completed programming services are non refundable.

Buyer is responsible for confirming compatibility with their specific vehicle before purchasing.
