All Keys Lost Bench Recovery & FEM/BDC Programming – 2015 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé (F36)

When all keys are lost on an F-series BMW equipped with the FEM/BDC immobilizer system, OBD-II key programming is often impossible without first reading the ISN (Individual Serial Number) directly from the engine ECU. We performed a full bench-level EEPROM and ECU dump to extract the required encryption keys and generate a new OEM smart key.

Technical Process:

• DME ISN Extraction: Connected directly to the Bosch ECU on the bench to read the ISN code required for key learning authorization.

• FEM/BDC Immobilizer Bench EEPROM Dump: Bench-connected the FEM/BDC module to extract internal security data and modify the EEPROM structure to allow key learning mode.

• Transponder & Remote Flashing: Generated new key data onto a smart key transponder using precise ISN integration.

• Synchronized Adaptation: Re-flashed coding data to the FEM/BDC, mated the key slot, and verified remote keyless entry, central locking, and engine start authorization.
