2013 VW GTI – All Keys Lost (AKL) Recovery

Recovered a customer from a full lost-key situation on a 2013 Mk6 Volkswagen GTI. We decoded the door lock cylinder, precision-cut two fresh flip keys, and programmed the immobilizer chips directly to the vehicle’s system. Customer left with two fully functioning, OEM-style remote keys tested and ready to go.

2013 Volkswagen Golf GTI – All Keys Lost Programming

• Vehicle: 2013 Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk6)

• Issue: All Keys Lost (AKL) – No working mechanical key or programmed transponder available.

• Solution:

  1. Performing a non-destructive bypass to gain cabin access.

  2. Decoding the mechanical key code directly from the lock cylinder using precision locksmithing tools.

  3. Laser-cutting two high-security HU66 blade keys to exact factory specs.

  4. Extracting EEPROM/Immobilizer security data and matching the new Megamos Crypto transponder chips to the ECU/cluster.

  5. Programming keyless entry remote functions and performing full system diagnostics.
